Underworld Guardian, incarnation #1 |
Musings of a mother, mycophile & unabashed animist. Notes on cultivating an animist tradition.
Pray to the Moon when She is round,
Luck with you will then abound,
What you seek for shall be found
On the sea or solid ground.
Luck with you will then abound,
What you seek for shall be found
On the sea or solid ground.

I love this. I can certainly relate to feeling 'dark' of late (thus my prayer). I'm dedicated to the Goddess of the Underworld even on the best and most routine of days, but I've been undergoing some serious personal transformation of late. I am feeling Her presence in my life stronger than ever before. And it is terrible...and beautiful.
"terrible... and beautiful" yes.
i am glad you like it. i get these visions in my sleep. this is where my tributes to Faunus & Fauna arise, i thank Them for the blessings of artistic inspiration in my dreams. these dreams are a relatively new phenomena (a year or two now) but when i get a vision, it feels almost compulsory to manifest it. sometimes it is even agitating -- very difficult with small children. sometimes i wish i had been given this gift before i had my babies, but i realize there is some purpose in the timing. for now i can only wonder.
Just saw her. So much rightness. Thank you.
