Ah Utah, my birthplace & my home during the reign of the Oak King. Land of the wonky but loveable Saints (of the Latter-Day kind). I suspect that Utah is going to be receiving some extra "blood-covered love" & prayer arrows today thanks to the religious leanings of the larger part of its people. With this in mind, I am requesting the assistance of the horde, the motley crew... the LBMs.
"LBM" is a term used in mushroom hunting parlance to refer to the countless little, brown mushrooms that are so unexceptional, so widespread & so similar that it gives you a headache just thinking about trying to ID them. Ubiquitous & hopelessly plain, they harangue the mushroom hunter with forever unanswered questions. Talk about the power to confuse the situation! May they make mycelial mayhem & a mess of this day's "siege."
Oh & hey, there's a LBM bonus: most of them are also saprophytic, so they can help clean up the spiritual sludge afterwards.
Today, let us envision little, brown mushrooms cheerfully blanketing the state of Utah, bringing with them a brain-addling bewilderment-buffer in her defense.
