Friends in Artistic Places: The Visual Bard

I recently discovered the Pagan Blog Prompts site & have been enjoying responding to the weekly prompt when I have the time. This week the theme is "Artwork." I have been looking for an opportunity to share a handful of favorite artists, both modern & historical (...envision me filled with illusions of featuring each in vast detail...), but time & children are not in favor of such a venture. I decided to compromise, working four of them into my prompt response & sharing a wee bit of background for each. However, time & children are still not in favor of my plans. (Besides, I am still waiting on requests I sent for permission to use artwork.) So, like the rings, there can only be one.

Without further ado, I am so pleased present:

Alica Wolter-Hausser, visual bard & personal friend. She is a mother, wife & artist making her home up here in the blessed Last Frontier. She is also the bee's knees -- so is her imagery. Her artwork reflects Celtic & Druidic influences as well as her lifelong love of horses. Raised in California, Utah & Alaska, she has been drawing since she was 3 years old. She earned a BFA in Printmaking & currently maintains an Etsy shop. She works in many mediums, describing herself as having "artist ADD" an approach that I think makes for many creative results.
