Pray to the Moon when She is round,
Luck with you will then abound,
What you seek for shall be found
On the sea or solid ground.

For Birch Goddess, the Helper.

I could have forwarded this via Spaceface or Booglemail, but I thought someone else might enjoy the story/blog & I wanted to save it "for the files."

Besides, I dislike leaving this little corner of the ether.

Sat down to write about animism & fluffy bunnies this morning & saw this post by the Sensual Animist"The Legend of the Birch Tree." It could have been written about you, except that it is very, very old. But, then again, perhaps it was.
